My work is an exploration of colour and overlapping. Using gestural marks allowing colour to dictate the composition.

I am based in Swanage, Dorset and have a BA (Loughborough) and MA (Camberwell) in Printmaking. My main practice is now painting. Having three small children has meant the immediacy of painting suits the time I have available.

My work is primarily concerned with relationships, between colours and textures, shapes and forms.

Using identical palettes throughout multiple paintings. Varying the marks made and the amount of each colour used.
